Uummm, most grades get yearly bonus.
Grade 18 is where you start to get equity.

Again, what grade are they offering you? There are usually 4 steps in each grade.

Anything less than a grade 20 does not get a yearly bonus or RSU’s. Most SWE’s at that grade are principal or Sr. principal.. salary depending on location is 130-160..

Oh must be different in CA. In MN only grade 19 and above get a yearly bonus and only 20 and above get bonus and RSU.. I have lost many good candidates to other because of it.
