I'm a new grad with internship and side project experience, applied for a position without "new grads" in the description. The listing itself listed 3yoe as basic requirements.

Got informed that I passed the phone screen, and in the process of setting up a date for a virtual onsite interview. The email I got just said I should expect 4 interviews on the same day, with LP and coding challenges involved, each 1 hour long.

How does a typical interview day with someone at my level look like? More concrete questions:

1. I've seen a lot of posts here say they are asked about sys design questions. Does this actually apply to my level as well?
2. What's the typical ratio of LP and coding questions?
3. Will each round be like part LP part coding, or there will be like 2 sessions for LP then 2 sessions for coding?

Thanks!

I believe for new grad they will ask OOP instead of system design. But it could also vary between different teams. Ask your recruiter to be sure.

Expect 2 LP per round, each with follow up question. You will spend around 20 mins of each round on LP then rest of the time will be coding and questions. LP is very important, dont take it second to leetcode.

It was 6 interviews onsite for me. All of them included LPs. And 1 of them was system design.
The rest of the 5 included coding on whiteboard and laptop. 1 easy, 2 mediums and 1 hard.

Thanks! Did you get questions specific to OOP as well? If so, were they like coding questions, or something like what's the definition of inheritance?
