Does tax counsel or exec comp in house pay better?

Both are specialities so I imagine they may pay similar but usually tax counsel is mapped to finance and exec comp is mapped to GC so exec comp might pay more because of that. Thanks!

    So few companies have exec comp in house as a specialty that I don't think you'll get a lot of data or opportunities. At least tax is a known quantity.

      That's super niche and you have to imagine that the folks getting those aren't coming from consulting firms. Likely top tier law firm practices in that... And so very few of those jobs with little mobility or path upward, so turnover wouldn't be high.
