We need to do something against police brutality. These videos show the shocking reality of what it’s like to be black and fearing for your life every time you encounter a cop. NYC mayor agrees, sort of... https://youtu.be/OJ9-Eq0T-2A
😂
You think dumping water on cops (during a heatwave) is on the level of police choking someone to death for selling cigarettes in front of a liquor store?
Dramatic much? Of course YOU think this is ok. 🙄
Yeah, I’m ok with this.
😆
It’s true. They’re also involved in disproportionately more crimes, and the police officers that fatally shoot them are also more likely to be African-American or Hispanic versus white. Reality is such a bummer right? https://www.psypost.org/2019/07/white-police-officers-are-not-more-likely-to-fatally-shoot-minorities-compared-to-black-or-hispanic-officers-54090
Um, why do you think the ethnicity of the police matter? Policing is racist because of policing policy and who gets policed and how people are treated based on their class or neighborhood. The police are not racist because they just happen to have a lot of individual white bigots in their ranks. Nobody argues that only white police abuse people. Ice Cube, why don’t you tell everybody what the fuck you got to say: “Don't let it be a black and a white one 'Cause they'll slam ya down to the street top Black police showin' off for the white cop”
I agree with you, I certainly don’t care about the racial make up of the police department or anything else. Unfortunately there is a growing segment of our society that seeks to use racial explanations to explain observed inequalities like Incarceration rates and police fatalities. That’s why cities are carefully balancing the racial profile of the police departments. Also why we publish studies like this to remind ourselves that no it is a hallucination if you think we live in some White supremacist racist society. Couldn’t be further from the reality.
African American murders are also disproportionately targeting African Americans on a scale of roughly 100x the consequences of police brutality. Black people are 25% of police shootings while committing 40% of the violent crime. Logic would say that those numbers should be roughly equal.
Heart Disease kills more people than the tumor in your urethra, so stop complaining about it.
Good analogy - no one listens to the guy fundraising for urethral cancer when it statistically is insignificant.

why are you posting this? do you actually want to analyze the crime stats or do you just want to encourage misguided activism?
Did you watch the video? I’m surprised at the restraint the police officers showed. But yeah, so much for black males fearing for their lives when encountering police...
sorry i didn't watch the video, didn't detect the sarcasm from OP
