I’ve been wanting to move to LA but can’t seem to find pm/strategy/planning roles that would be a good opportunity. I feel ur pain

Amazon nalaland Oct 11, 2020

What’s the question here? These listings are not good enough?

Investment Bank Coasts Oct 12, 2020

That is my question too. The posted offers are all solid and realistic for Los Angeles and many markets. Most companies do not pay FAANG rates.

Where is tldr

Apple cjfjfjfjfj Oct 11, 2020

TLDR, if you are looking for a software engineer job in LA, unless you get hired by SnapChat, otherwise don't expect to get more than ~$200k.

Just the faang play only but very limited opportunities.

LA has a more diversified job market than the Bay Area. Comparatively Bay Area is very focused on tech. A good tech job can be found in LA but will take longer
