I have 16 years of experience:
- 4 years front end dev
- 9 years technical program management (4 yrs as director)
- 3 years product management director (most recent)

I’ve never worked at a Faang company and am looking to. I have an interview with Google in 2 weeks for a Product Management position so am prepping. Trying figure out the possible salary range I could get. I have a full time remote job now where I’m valued but feel I’m underpaid. Not expecting a director role at a Faang company but a high level Product role.

Would have recommended you practice on lesser companies instead of starting out with G. You'll likely make much more than you are now but expect a long windy road. Did you launch products? Can you talk about go to market strategies, feature prioritization,...all backed by real examples?

Thank you, that’s helpful. G reached out to me so didn’t have much time to practice.

It might pay to find some of those companies that do mock interviews for money if you find someone credible. Top league interviews at high grades are....challenging 👍 best wishes

Sounds like Meta L6 or potentially L7. You can look up the ranges on levels.fyi

Also not looking to have a director role, would be happy with a non director PM role with a higher salary than what I have today
