I have 8 years of SDE experience (AWS, AMD, Stripe), and 1.5 years of SDM experience (Stripe). I have a Masters in CS and a general MBA both of which are from world top 5 Universities. As I am about to finish my MBA, I recently started applying for the jobs.
Just based on the information I gave you and ignoring everything else like my interests, what would be the best role for my profile in terms of career progression and salary?

P.S. - I know people will ask why did I do MBA if I don't even know what I want to do post MBA. I know what I want to do eventually which is founding my own company but untill then, I need a job.

Last TC - 350K.

I put one vote to VC/PE but only mean to vote for VC. PE-owned companies are generally terrible to work for so I think someone that is interested in growth and building something and starting their own startup would feel gross working for PE.

A few of my friends work for PE owned companies and the companies basically do anything (i.e. lay off all growth roles, cut benefits, freeze promos, low-ball new hires) in order to boost short term profits and get to an exit once the PE firm has held them for a few years (and wants to exit).

I can DM you the other question
