I am writing this at midnight while not able to sleep. I work at a very small company in Toronto, although i do have good experience but Leetcode is something i heard about a little too late and I struggle with medium level problems.
I am going to interview at Amazon(on-site) SDE2 this Thursday and since i am preparing for the past three weeks, hearing about all of you i know it is not enough.
I am worried sick and want to get a high paying job. I know everyone of you want to shit at Amazon and all but for someone trying to make big and who is earning peanuts, I just want to earn more.
I know i am good engineer, I just need knowledge about more technologies maybe.
And also if anyone can refer me, I am in Toronto, Canada. I am also interested in Remote jobs in US too.

Took a week off from work and I am preparing and just trying to give my best.
There are other factors like other candidates who appear , if ur interviewer is a jerk, ur mood , interviewer mood , luck etc
Give ur best effort
Hope for the best and be prepared for the worst
1. Learn to take interview failures in your stride. Accept that they are an inaccurate prediction of your worth as an engineer, and certainly do not have any relationship with your worth as a human. They are still the best "available" way to judge an engineer in "limited" time of 3-4 hours. Once you digest this, give as many interviews as possible. Dont say no to any interview- it will be good practice. And treat each experience as a learning experience
2. Practice, practice and more practice. Learn to enjoy the practice. Dont focus on the end result
3. Practice with persistence- its much effective to practice for an hour for 3 months, rather than learn for a straight 90 hours before the interview. Thats just how the brain synapses work
4. If you have difficulty in finding time to learn- do it as the first thing every morning. This will prevent you from getting side-tracked by the "rest of the day"
All the best
