I am attending a career fair next week and am hoping to land an interview for a Pre-Sales Consulting Internship with Dell. Before I dive into the internet for advice I wanted to first come to ask you all. Does anyone have any advice for this? I know the career fair makes it hard as they will talk with 100 other students so I want to make sure to stand out. Thanks everyone in advance.
Come prepared to sell your value. A one page leave behind with your elevator speech and key points would help you stand out. Most college grads don't think in those terms. They only think in themselves not how they will help an employer grow revenue
Sales? Practice answering the question: why should we hire you? What sets you apart? Ok, that was 2.

Sell yourself, confidence, knowledge of the company, vision, products. As said previously, prepare a leave behind - go the extra mile
You must be able to have a conversation in order to stand out from the crowd, be able to talk about their products, and be presentable- dress neatly, firm handshake, eye contact. They want someone who is engaging not someone that can just repeat product specs. Good luck
Pre sales folks within my bu usually iterate on knowing the products... Especially when it has to do with customer interactions...

Be confident. Most new grads are timid, which doesn't play well in consulting.
