Work in PreSales at VAR in ATX...$137 base..$30 bonus...maxed out. Job is easy...too easy. Starting to rust up and VAR doesn't have many cloud or service provider customers. Get contacted by recruiter weekly...jobs are interesting at times but well below what I make. Not going to take a pay cut. Any suggestions?
TBH that is a pretty good salary for Austin, especially pre-sales. Depends a lot on what you want to do. Pre-sales can mean a lot of things at different companies. Are you looking for a Solutions architecture role? Implementation, service delivery or straight sales? Also what industry - particular niche?
