In your experiences what is the difference in award value for joining a pre IPO company vs a post IPO? Have been testing the waters with job offers lately and I’m getting offered about half the equity that Uber gives (but higher base and bonus of course for usually easier work). Is this normal due to the competitor stock being liquid as recruiters have told me?
