95k miles is where it's likely hitting major repair and replacements age I imagine. I personally don't go for anything over 40-45k for used. That looks... Kinda expensive for a 95k. But then I don't know what the used car market is like in CA

I have 151k on my early 2010's rav4 and have had no major fixes aside from maintenance (battery, brakes, etc)

why buy something used? you don’t know who or what’s been inside it before you and there could be something messed up at it’s “engine”

Alright, fair enough. From experience, Toyota’s usually require very little maintenance unless something is severely wrong. My last car had 293k km on it & still sold for 3500cad.

That’s definitely a plus, but partners subtly appreciate small stuff like a better driving experience. Enough of the small stuff adds up to big stuff and one day they might put you on PIP over a lot of mini things.

I can definitely see how you’re seeming to imply that Toyota’s are more performant / reliable though

72mo financing doesn’t make sense. I see that you said that you plan to pay it off early - most people don’t. They will just make the bare minimum payment. At the very most I would personally go no higher than 36mo on the note.

I don’t know wether the deal on the OTD is decent or not. I do know that this is the worst time in modern history to buy a car.

You've got some pretty steep interest rates over there in Canada!

yeah but can we pretend for just a moment that “classic” things at life in general are better 🙂

I’m definitely not implying this to be the case for cute girls. Unless you are, in which case I am too.
