Prioritizing career growth vs other ventures

Im 22yo, SDE, 150 TC. I'm trying to seek advice on what to prioritize what I should focus on for 2019. Anyone with experience doing the following while working fulltime and be willing to share their experience in how they did it: Leetcoding and ML interview prepping: Ive been working fulltime for 7 months now, I want to be promoted in Q4 (17 months) of 2019, and interview elsewhere (google hopefully) and use my L5 salary at Amazon to negotiate Learning options trading: thought I paper traded enough, net loss at $1700 for 2018 Outsourcing personal tasks to Virtual assistant: yea I'm tired of taking care of errands, researching personal things Getting real estate brokers license: I own a condo, rented it out, and I am very fascinated with the process. Thought I can take the online real estate courses now Finding someone on Upwork to build an iOS app for me: tried working on this during last semesters of college, startup didn't go anywhere, neither did the app, now I need to find cheap labor, maybe in a tax efficient way. To do all the above have to study and work 100 hours a week lol. Its k I'm 22yo I got the stamina

One thing I've learned in my years of side hustling (and trust me I learned this the hard way). It's much better to do one side hustle really well than do a bunch of them half hazard. I did all the things you're interested in doing when I was around your age and that's what I learned from it. But maybe you need to do it yourself to learn that lesson.

How do you know which one to do really well in? I'm not good at any of the above really. Most traders dont make money, and I'm no exception. An iOS app being successful is slim. Progressing in my SDE career and real estate seems like the best option

If you think those are your best options then dont waste time or energy on any of the others. Better to be an excellent broker than a mediocre one with a mediocre iOS app.

Want to get real estate license as well. Then flip house as part time job. Any source on where to study and get the license?

I think you need to find a girl friend. That is also a type of investment. So you will not feel lonely and purposeless when you are 30.

A good partner is the best indicator for success in later life

partner ?? really .. why is it that important ?

A partner with high TC*

With that mentality, you'd probably die alone rich. The worst part is you'd be spending the sign on bonus you get from Google to get a mediocre nurse who will refuse to flush your toilet when you get old. First try to find why you wanna get rich. Because some people can't even tell if they are rich. Don't be that person to blindly follow someones template. This is not school where you follow the syllabus and you top the class. Life is wild and unpredictable. Try to set goals to be happy not to be rich.

Good effort but yeah a good partner is the best investment you can make.Remember half of marriages end in divorce so even if you build wealth choosing the wrong partner will result in you losing half your wealth
