Worked in analytics for 4 years and made the jump to product management 1 year ago. I'm up for a promotion from associate PM to Product Manager. Currently making 106k with ~15% in bonus potential and standard stock options. What can I expect as a bump in salary? I'm in San Francisco at a successful startup and we are profitable already. I'm managing some of the top products at the company as well. I'm doing a lot, but don't have a ton of experience, hence my curiosity. Was thinking 120k base but reading some posts I'm thinking (hoping) I can reasonably ask for more. Appreciate any thoughts!
No one needs PMs

Not exactly relevant to my question. But would be an interesting debate. The CEO of Google might disagree, however.
Don't tell a number, see what they offer and then don't answer until asked. Then say you were hoping it to be higher for the new responsibility that will come with it.
That's a pretty good strategy. It's all about the leverage!
How did it go?
While you could get 130-135 somewhere else in SF, it's really rare that you get that kind of raise without leaving your company. Id say ask for 125 and revisit your bonus structure to get more goal based incentives.
Bonus structure is standard. Thought about asking for more stock. So we'll see. Thanks for the input.
More stock is also a good option if your company has a precedent for it and does not require board approval for it.
