Does anyone have any insight into the Dropbox Product Operations Manager role? Also, what are the pros and cons of working at Dropbox? What would be an expected comp range for this?
This is in Customer Experience (separate org from engineering). If you like endless bureaucratic nonsense, meetings that consist of talking about doing things but never actually accomplishing anything, inappropriate and uneducated middle managers then it’s the place for you.
The role is generally just working with engineering teams to support product launches. Aligning customer support needs with what’s in the pipeline.
You won’t get much stock, they are not paying what engineering gets.
Besides that, food is great, wlb is great, and culture is great.
