What are the good companies to consider and/or strong design leaders to look up to in India?
I am considering a move from US end of this year/next if I find a fit. I am not comfortable sharing my move reasons - requesting to please comment focussing on the question :)

the ones that are tagged as - "great Indian startups to work, for designers.."
A bunch of unqualified, half baked, self taught idiots are running the show. They are just a useless cult of Figma experts who have no foundations in HCI.
These "designer" folks in these startups are the ones:
1. still fighting the pointless UI vs UX conundrum
2. exhibiting woke stupidity against "design education'' (they think design degrees don't matter)
3. spending most of their time mastering 'software tools' while they know zilch about the craft
4. sitting on mount stupid of the Dunning Kruger curve
4. conducting cohort based UX Courses for 499 INR, again teaching 'tools'
5. giving half baked UX gyaan on YouTube
6. actively doing BS on twitter and all the 'design community' BS
Add up all the points above, you don't want to be working with these specimens.
If you are looking for some solid product work, grounded in core HCI practices and product development, the Indian startups are not the place.
