In next few week I have Google interview scheduled. I'm most conformable with Scala language as I'm using it for last 3 years. The problem is Google recruiters are forcing me to choose any language between C++/java/python/C# for interview. Though I'm resisting but they are not agreeing. This left me 2 option - Brush up java/c++ knowledge - Just do interview in Scala. Not sure if interviewer will object for using different language. I'm also planing to do interview with Amazon, MS, Uber and some other companies. Are they too have restrictions around selection of programing language for the interview? Please guide me what should I do in this case. #google #amazon #interview #leetcode
Use one of those.... Our interviews are team specific so use cpp or c#
Just do python. It's practically pseudocode anyway.
Good point. I also feel python is very less verbose along with some similar feature sets like Scala.
Always python or else u will waste all the time writing curly braces
Well they can't judge you for missing braces when they don't even exist 😂
Dude I was rejected from Google for code hygiene, aparantly I didn't formatted it properly
Python and java is better (in that order) than c/c++ or other language
I did mine in C++ and did well. But that’s because I’m more comfortable in C++ than Python. For me, the order is: C++, Java, Python, C#, C
Yeah my order is C++ Java Python as well but I don't know a lot of C++ internals so I just do Java.
Do java
