Prolific leetcoder seeking referrals

Jul 24, 2019 133 Comments

I’ve attached a pic, I’ve done every problem on Leetcode. Also fairly comfortable with system design. I’m seeking referrals at Apple, Uber, Lyft, Pinterest, Dropbox, and Microsoft. I can share my resume and would be happy to jump on a call.
Thanks for your time :).

Update with Interview Results:

Phone Screens:
Snap - pass
Google - pass
Lyft - pass
Amazon - pass
Microsoft - pass
Palantir - reject (surprising, did well on the coding, guess no fit)
Apple - reject (c++ knowledge could be better, culture fit)

Onsite interviews:
Snap - pass
Google - pass
Lyft - reject (I thought this was my best onsite too :|)

Cancelled onsites: Amazon, Microsoft

I used my Snap offer to negotiate my lowball Google offer higher, and accepted Google. Solid but not great L3 offer.

LeetCode likely won’t help there. All my rounds were system design.

Hehe, I’ve heard. I’ve studied system design a decent amount as well, though it’s not up to par with my Leetfoo just yet.

What did you use for studying system design ?

How did you practice system design ?

The standard materials (Donne Martin’s, Grokking), plus a book I’m currently reading: Distributed Systems: An Algorithmic Approach . Very interesting read.

Incredible... at this point I think this is definitely resume-worthy. You’re basically a competitive programmer.

Hehe, you’re flattering me. Bulk of practice doesn’t necessarily equal brilliance. Plus I’m not sure I should show my interview practice on my resume...at least that’s what I’ve heard. Anyways, here’s my refer link

Thanks and thanks. The problems are actually ordered by their problem #, which isn’t necessarily the order I did them in. The better later notes are the ones that succinctly describe the algo solution as opposed to the ones that refer to bugs to avoid lol

OP: You said, you solved 7 probs a day!
Were you able to solve all the 7 problems by yourself or you think for sometime if you don’t get thought you see the solution??
    Jul 24, 2019 2
    • OP
I definitely couldn’t solve each one on my own. But even when I can, I typically look at the discussion section.

OP: that's good. I usually could solve 40% on my own and rest 60% I end up seeing the discuss section after pondering over it for some time. Is this sustainable?
