I am getting put up for promotion from Executive Assistant Business Partner 1 to 2 but was told today that I likely wouldn’t see a pay raise because I am already getting paid 80%+ of their benchmarking for EABP1... two part question is: does this sound reasonable to you and/or how much do you get paid as an EA? I have been with company for 2.5 years but have about 9 yrs admin experience... I make $80k in San Diego with chance at 8% bonus and roughly $10k in RSUs #executiveassistant

Now at my last job (last day was yesterday lol), I was exempt with no merit increases. There is nothing on paper for admin professionals for base and rank. I was literally there only example.
Got laid off because after 2 years my CEO suddenly decided I was getting paid too much Even though he hired me at my pay request which was cheaper than the two assistants previously
