Fellow friends in San Ramon, can you please guide me what is the total property tax bill in San Ramon. I am considering to buy a property in SR and put an offer for $1.2M. All the websites say property tax is 0.85% but I don't think that's correct when I see the property tax bill of previous years, it comes to 1.63% total. This means for a 1.2m home, the total yearly property tax would be $19.5k. On the contrary, in Dublin/Fremont in Alameda County the max rate is 1.2%
Please share some light on this ? Realtor says it is > 1.6%
