Has anyone thought about why we as fans get so stoked to see our team win a championship, we boast of the great win, and it's as if we accomplished something, but we didn't do anything at all?
To witness something that's part of history is good enough to get stoked about
Isn't it because humans have this innate sense of tribalism?
Fans aren't sentient, they just rotate and sometimes oscillate when powered on.
Community pride? Lots of Americans stay where they were born their whole life. Its 'their' town.
Been around since the Roman days. Sports are just contemporary Colosseum.
