I am actively looking for a job now. I’m getting really burnt out with the crazy hours and leadership reviews and I don’t see an end in sight. I haven’t been head hunted like I use to (working at mid sized tech companies). Was wondering would i have better luck if I selected my employer as amazon or aws? I can only select one on LinkedIn (I.e the employer icon on ur profile). Hoping to increase my chances to get out of here! Also if anyone is open to referral or any help, happy to connect. 10+ yoe in pm/planning/supply chain
It really doesn’t matter.
If you are just worried about keyword search Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a good option. If looking for next role in cloud domain go full on with AWS only, else Amazon is fine too with team name as AWS XYZ(product)
What about when u select the company. You only have one option. Does that impact when a recruiter is clicking on the employer icon? Aws and amazon two different employer on LinkedIn
You are overthinking! No one really care, focus on things you worked on, not the icon!
Pick the official AWS one that comes up from the options LinkedIn gives you
Select Amazon Web Services. Recruiters likely filter for both anyway.
write like this Amazon (WS)
I prefer Amazon.ws
