Market neutral hedge funds like Two Sigma have insane pnl (30% according to quora). Since two sigma is private, is the best bet to high TC and Net worth as a new grad to join one of these companies and invest? On the TC note, supposedly all I care about is TC, would it be a plausible career pivot to go from tech to Corporate lawyer with a quantitative undergrad degree? I have friends whose parents make bank by being lawyers for an institution.
so late in the game, market is heavily overbought.
Wdym overbought?
market is overly saturated with retail investors, while institutional guys have already made their fortune and had already started downsizing their positions to minimize any global risks of a down turn.. in the event that the market does begin to diverge and volatility begins to rise, everyone will panic especially those who got in the game late with higher pricing levels..
Two sigma returns are not public. From where did you get 30% returns figure ?
