Iโm self studying for a career change into SWE and have finished my first intro to programming course. I have touched upon python very briefly and have realized that to do LC I need a solid understanding of the language as well as Data Structures and Algorithms. I was wondering if there were any recommendations for python courses I can take that would gear me towards getting ready for the DS&A course Iโm planning to take before LC. Also which courses would you recommend for DS&A? Ideally I want to have a solid base before starting LC

Also you donโt need to learn any language before learning Data Structures and Algorithms. Certainly not a specific language.
I would recommend the following two courses,
1. Data structures
2. Coding interview patterns
I like that they are text/reading based and not videos. There are a lot of other interesting courses as you advance.
Be patient and stay focused. Good luck.
the main advantage is itโs hands on, you write some short code to pass each page of the lesson
