Q for folks from Microsoft India : Morgan Stanley or Fidelity for stock/RSU management?

Which one would you recommend? And why? I am adding a Poll for this and would love to understand the rationale (such as: Less conversion rates, low rate of failures, good customer support, ...etc) if you can share any insights via comment. YOE: 13 TC: 85L

Fidelity purely because managing two accounts is a pain in the ass. You can't use Morgan Stanley for ESPP

What I am thinking is; we can segregate the plans (say: Selling off the ESPP as and when stocks are deposited into our account while retaining the RSUs for longterm) and have clear visibility as to how many & where the RSUs are lying and how the growth of them is been.

Hey guys, I have one more question Do msft allows us to buy share out of msft salary? I mean some portion of salary we can purchase stock Is this option there?

This is called ESPP. You can set aside upto 15% of your monthly salary for the programme. It's deducted automatically monthly once you opt in and the shares are bought quarterly.

Any advantages of having Morgan Stanley?

One advantage that I can think of is; to differentiate between ESPP & RSUs and strategizing the sale/retention plans for those 2 segments seperately. Because one segment is what you are buying by setting a side your money while other segment is something that vests!!

That's not actual advantage. That has more to do with self control and management. I was looking for actual advantage like lower brokerage, lower conversion fees, faster settlement etc
