I HATE American banks. A family member cashed a few old checks that I forgot about (no big deal at all) but my checking went into negative and I was charged like 7 x $36 overdraft fees with some automatic payments.
Im doing fine,, but imagine if poor people don't have money in their account and then get charged these overdraft fees - its unethical and immoral.
I'm going to close my accounts (US Bank and Wells Fargo) out of principle. I'm looking into Chime but wondering what other banks or credit unions are out there?
TC 250
Tl:dr - looking for advise on good online bank or credit union.
