Where to max out TC when working from Poland

Hi! I'm making around 100K USD TC (Senior SWE, 17YOE, mostly Java, strong system design experience, led teams and projects, not that good in LC style tasks) at Box in Poland. Quite satisfied with the salary but with a big family still not enough to make a comfortable living.
Where could I get significantly more? Thinking of something between 150 and 200K USD.
Any possibility to work remotely for US / UK and get this kind of money? If so, where do you look for such offers?
In Polish market seen only Snowflake offer in this area, but possibly after the recent share price drop may not be so high anymore. Seen that Palantir is also hiring in Poland. Can I reach that there? Got some contact from Meta UK as well, but don't know what is their pay scale for Poland. Not sure if with my Algo skills I could make it there.
There are some offers from UK companies for contractors up to 700GBP per day, what seems to be at this level. Anyone doing this kind of job?

Without LC but with your experience, I think you’re limited to manager positions. What’s not a bad idea, but why are you limiting yourself?

Compared to the rest of what you did, LC is an easy skill. Yes, if you never did it, it would cost a few months of your after-work time, but it will pay off. Just treat learning LC as a side job that would pay you couple million $ extra over the course of the next 10 years.

Been manager for multiple years, actually longer than in IC roles. I've decided that IC gives me more fun and less headaches. Good tip to practice LC!

Also, in regards to your Meta contact - don’t bother applying at IC position without training LC. Tell them to get back to you in couple months, they will always wait.

I did this mistake. Not spending a week or two refreshing my LC skills had probably cost me $200k in TC bump. I didn’t bomb the interviews, but I didn’t do them as smoothly as i would do straight from the college.

The TC I got from a recruiter for Meta remote in Poland, for E6/Staff, was ~900k PLN, roughly half in base salary and bonus, and the other half in RSUs.

Google can pay similarly for Staff in Poland, here is some entry from levels.fyi:

Did you have any competing offers? Did you negotiate much from the initial offer?

Just to be clear, I am waiting for interview results right now, I asked for TC before the interviews, and I understood this is a standard/initial offer for E6 in Poland, without competing offers. But I don’t think it is possible to get better competing offer from Poland, so it might not be possible to negotiate much.

And I did not get data for E5, as all E5 recruiting pipelines were cancelled due to hiring freeze.

I can update the post, if I get actual offer.

  • Palantir poland will probably at least double your current TC.

Fellow 🇵🇱 here, $100K is decent, but you should be able to get at least 50% more, 100% if you’re really good and willing to take the extra mile.

I’m 18 YOE, €130k + rather unremarkable €10k yearly bonus + $50k RSUs. Then there’s some on-call compensation that comes with the territory. Which can add up to 15% of base.

That would make a pretty sweet deal if you’re willing to go for self-employment.

Last time I was actively looking for a job was in 2015, I got into a random early-stage (think first employee) startup and it was a smooth ride since (with some recruiters helping along the way). LinkedIn is a surprisingly good source. Working remotely for UK / US since then.

Trail of bits has some Polish employee. They can probably exceed your TC goal if you are good. But they focus on security auditing not software development. They do offer a free boot camp and apprentice program.
