I.T Support... The average customer thinks nothing of the role except when they're stuck frustrated with their equipment in need of technical assistance.
While the I.T Technical Support is around solving the problems that you couldn't we are often required to think out of the box and approach every incident methodically.
This problem solving skill is easily overlooked and I.T techs are commonly underpaid. Why is this? We have to constantly upskill our Tech abilities as Technology changes and evolve with the times, yet salaries don't seem to follow this philosophy.

You should look into network support entry level jobs. Or learn the cloud, get aws certs, and try that route. You canโt just stick with one skill set your whole life, you always need to keep learning or you will be left behind. Newer tech also has a lack of understanding, so it helps you become a hotter commodity.
