Cons: Amazon culture is cutthroat, foot always needs to be on the gas pedal always since no room to coast ever.
At L6, the culture isn’t quite as horrible since you should have some amount of influence on direction. How strongly the culture is felt is largely dependent on management. My team on AWS is pretty good, feel free to ping me for name if you want, although Idk if they are hiring PMs and I should note that I am leaving Amazon next month.
Going from workday seems like a no brainer to me if you want a better name on your resume. Since you went through the whole process while knowing amazons rep, I’m also assuming you aren’t happy where you are at. If worst comes to worst you can view it as a learning experience.
