Have FB offer as well for the same level. Both offers in Seattle. Both offering roughly same TC. I'm on H1B beyond the initial 6 years, so I need the active green card application in place.
Airbnb's valuation is very attractive, so it will be a good time to join. On the flip side: Given that Airbnb laid off recently, I am not sure if they can initiate the GC process right away.
Or should I join FB? Perhaps use the cash to invest in Airbnb so that I don't lose the upside totally? Also, by the time it goes IPO.. Lot of upside will be lost.
Offer: 400+ both places

if I could join Airbnb with current valuation I wouldn't think twice, it's an incredible deal and will print when we IPO soon
I'm surprised about GC @ Airbnb. To the best of my knowledge, there's a rule that employer can file for GC for an employee only when for that role, level & city there were no layoffs in last 6 months.
