Have been working in USA for 5+ years. Have been trying to move move back to India due to personal issue. Have tried to apply to numerous opening but dont get any response. Any suggestions to improve my chances?
Hows anyone going to suggest anything with no details? Based on information you have given so far the best I can say is try harder and good luck.
What sort of information is missing. I can try to provide details
Location. Details about ur experience (tech details) Basically sum up ur resume in a few lines. Also if u aren't even getting interview calls something might be wrong with ur resume or application/search approach. Maybe write a bit about that? Ask for someone to review ur resume. U can also pose the question on reddit r/cscareerquestions.
I think itโs best to get a referral in India and try..contact the recruiters directly..hope you will find something soon..
Thanks, Its getting tough to get a response back since the geographic location difference also timing differences
Change discipline. QA is dying
Why is this? QA incorporates a lot of different areas including security, automation, performance, RPA, V&V, etc. I feel like you're either not aware of all that we do or know so don't I don't. I don't see the medical device industry getting away from QA testing anytime soon for example
Been there done that. You gotta grow still.
I was glad I left QA for SWE. Not trying to badmouth, but it's looked down upon.
People who saying that QA is dying profession should not work in IT at all.
Lol QA is here to stay. If you think QA dies, the product dies
Better have top notch developers with clean code if QA is not needed, extinct, dying, whatever else.
QA has been growing where I'm at. If you think it's dying, your department isn't doing well, or the product you're doing it for isn't generating anything positive worth keeping. Business plays a bigger role than you think.

There's no qa in America. QA is extinct position.
This is untrue. The company I work for employs a few hundred.
QA engineer here in America. I'm very much alive and employed, as are the other 10 QA engineers on my team
