Assuming the same city/scope/WLB, up to how much in TC would you compromise to have a fully remote work?

For example, would you take Square's 450k TC (full remote in SF) over Amazon's 480k (Hybrid in SF), compromising 30k for the full remote opportunity?

Blind tax: 430k (8 yoe)

This would make more sense if it was percentage based. 480 -> 450 is very different than 180 -> 150.

Zero. I go to the highest bidder. Simple as. If they pay me less, someone else will pay me more

Yep, which is why I work remotely, for the highest bidder. If they pay me less because I'm "remote", that means I'm a higher risk to leave and they have to accept it. I interview every 1.5 years. If they don't want me to leave, they'll have to pay me

After having to ramp up after a very long period of not interviewing, I fully intend to interview somewhere every year. It's important to keep that skill fresh, since it's a very different skill from doing your job well.
