Hi all,
I wanted to ask ya'll a lil about my offer and seek some advice on the next steps. I received an Amazon Sr. TPM offer for 315K TC.
I started my Microsoft PM life as a Product Manager but due to re-Orgs ended up as a TPM for the last 2.5 years. I have Google and FB PM On Sites next week as well but I have a deadline with Amazon as well in a week and a half.
- How does 315K look for an L6 TPM?
- Does anyone know what the top of the band at L6 looks like?
- What is the path to L7 TPM? Is it even worth it?
- Can I switch to a Product Manager down the road if I choose so?
- Any comp difference between PM & TPM?
YOE: 6 (1.5 Dev, 2 PM, 2.5 TPM)
Current TC: 160K (PM2)
Offer TC: 315K (Sr. TPM)

From what ive seen, TC would be like this: PMT >= TPM > PM
Second, can you share base or breakdown?
180 base
Y1:118,750 Y2:86250
325K stock
As a Sr. TPM at Amazon ( where people with with 2 yrs and 30 yrs exp fall in this bracket ) it’s okay offer around 40th percentile
