I am sheduled for onsite with Sysdig @ sanfrancisco ... any inputs and suggestions about Sysdig interms of their product stand team and compensation current tc 195k
Which team are you joining? Some of the Engineering teams are cool but others, like the Infrastructure team, is horrible. The company is under pressure to generate more revenue and cut cost because their competitors are doing better. E.g. Twistlock, Aqua, etc.
What’s wrong with infrastructure team?
The previous team members were more collaborative. Most left (involuntarily?) and the new ones are arrogant.
Yeah ... I have got rejected ... Recruiter mentioned I am not suitable for role... not sure what went wrong ... I had coding interview which I am sure I did well ... then design kind of micro-service ... I did decent for a storage solution... but other one was for kind of Linux debug and real time issues ... I think I dint do well in this ... but thanks you for the info ... I really like the company and interview process
Did you connect with the recruiter, or the recruiter contacted with you? I finished the review three days ago, but don't get any response. Should I contact with the recruiter?
Hey! Sysdigger here! Product stand team? Not sure what you mean, but the company is pretty great. I've been here a year now and is one of the most distributed companies I've ever worked for, even with it being so small. Super strong engineering focus and very employee focused. I've never worked at a place where I felt my input mattered more. Compensation from a base salary perspective was nothing to write home about, pretty much on par with everyone else. Slight 401k match and decent insurance plan. The allure of being in a high growth field with an exploding TAM made the options too enticing for me.
Thank you for the input ... this helps a lot
