It's all in the title. If you happen to come accross this B.S company, do not ever join this company. Most of my team mates are being asked to mandatory relocate to the New Jersey/ frisco. Most of them have their kids who are in middle of academic year, own house in their current location. Guess what, they have to decide in 15 days otherwise they will be forced to leav out of the company( technically lay off). The blind rating and glass door ratings says it all. I can't even imagine thousands of employees and their kids being suffered to the core becuase of this B.S higher management. One of my friend got permanently remote approved when fiserve office in portland closed.
Well good for your friend. My managers are spine less.
I used to work for Fiserv for a year and a half back in 2016. I'm conflicted because they hired me with a non-technical degree and helped jumpstart my tech career shift (I was hired as a data analyst and shifted to Salesforce shortly after). But other than that, I they were awful. Everyday was an urgent firedrill with management needing deployments done immediately with no testing. No standards or best practices either.
They have office in Alpharetta. Are they people from there to move to frisco?
No transparency or information as of now. But, people who are working remotely, and in the locations where the Fiserv offices are being shut down were asked to asked to relocate to Alpharetta/N.J/Frisco. I don't think they will ask people to relocate from Alpharetta to N.J because they are already in the hubs. But, I don't trust this management who are full of clowns.
Do permanent employees get a good relocation package? If they are making you pay your own relocation expenses that's crazy..
Hey, my company uses multiple Fiserv products i.e. DNA and some other stuff. What's your opinion on DNA as someone who works there?
Sorry I don't work on that product so, I don't have information regarding DNA.
I'm about to quit because of the mandatory in office work. I've been ignoring my managers and WFH regardless and they keep threatening to let me go. Another job is lined up tho so :)
Good to hear. All the best for your new job.
Good decision
I used to work there as SWE on contract. OP is right stay away!! Bad managers!! Everything is always required to be finished yesterday unrealistic delivery expectations. They are going to lose many employees if they are forcing relocation market is hot right now for swe's.
Yeah it’s garbage here. We have people working 12 hour days 7 days a week and managers think it’s normal.
Recently they started to pull back from this position seeing how many people have left. New NJ location is right on the train line to NYC. Good luck trying to match NYC salaries to those ho are forced to come to the office. For me personally it is the same time to ravel to new location and to NYC so guess what I choose - FIserv with fully disconnected management or NYC job at 50% more pay?
WTF is Fiserv? They reached out for a product role. How’s the pay like for product leaders there?
What's your current T.C?
I don’t think that’s relevant.
My entire team got laid off and a few others..wasn't a bad company 3 years ago but with the merger with OFD many want to leave They also pay under industry
