    1) It's great, i.e. unobtrusive and you don't feel like it drives people's everyday decision making. I almost forgot performance conversations were happening because it was so not stressful

    2) Every 6 months

    3) RTO 3 days/week in May but you can apply to be remote. Some people have already started coming back and lunches are friendly and inclusive (and delicious!) There aren't really cliques and people just go with whoever is there.

    Like others have mentioned, performance reviews at Roblox are decent and every six months. The nice part about Roblox perf reviews is that they're mostly self-evaluated. You don't have to rely on doing high-visibility work in hopes that your management chain remembers during perf review season, unlike certain other companies that encourage and reward attention chasers. Instead, you write what you've done to meet company values / expectation matrix, and your manager assigns you a level based on that. There are three tiers to each level, so you can get a better idea of how much you've progressed through each level as well.

    There isn't formal peer review or any sort of upwards feedback, but apparently that's going to happen at some point.
