GuideWire Onsite Interview, 3 hours
Is anyone aware what to expect on virtual on-site for intermediate level software developer at Guidewire (San Mateo)? Also if anyone can provide more information on work culture, perks and average tc, it would be great. Thanks for your help and tips. Much appreciated. TC 210k

Search for the recent thread called FB to Guidewire. Comp in the Bay Area can be competitive, but not specifically familiar with engineering payscale.
OP, TC might not be a problem but low balling happens in some groups. Depends on interview feedback. Great CEO, reimbursement for home office setup, 2 meals per week reimbursement for entire family, early bonus pay out due to current situation. I know Enterprise IT / Business Technology group TC scale but not engineering. Great WLB. Their Development teams are building some cool cloud products. Check thread FB to Guidewire. Don’t jump from LinkedIn to guidewire. Our growth already hit the ceiling if you were to join 7 years ago then I agree.
Guidewire has shit comp. when I talked to the recruiter, he said for mid level total comp was 150k and senior level total comp is 200k. Maybe he was low balling me on the initial screen but who knows.
How many YOE do you call as Mid level
If i recall it was around 4-5 years. I only remember 7-8 years was the minimum for senior because that’s what I interviewed for.
