Had a recruiter reach out for a senior non-tech position. I haven’t heard of these folks before, but they claim to be a unique, and powerful engineering code search. Thoughts?
Great tool. Can't live without it once you gave it a try. The only problem I see is that its benefits are highly proportional to the size of codebase (otherwise a local language server suffices), so the market won't be as broad as Slack/Gitlab.
curious how it compares to our internal codesearch
Appears to be pattern based. Not even close to Kythe.
It does have precise code intelligence, using LSIF (the Microsoft open standard) not Kythe (the Google open standard that is less popular). It has pattern-based definitions/references out of the box but you should set up precise code intel if you’re using it often.
Hello is it possible to refer me ? I tried unsuccessfully in the past but couldn't even get an interview weird. Can I DM you ?
can vouch for the tool. pretty cool
