Qualcomm today announced a 5% rise to all employees. Best part of it applies to new hires as well. What do you guys think? I guess this is at the expense of bad wlb
TC or … you know the drill ..
The raise is a minimum of 5% and people don't know their specific number until Tuesday. I don't think only 5% is enough to get people to stay, so I hope it's more, at least for the people in my team.
of all the big corps I interviewed with last month, qcom offer is the smallest, even after their 2nd round offer.
Second round offer?
Is this pay rise applicable for the people who is about to join qualcomm in 2 months
You should renegotiate if possible based on this new information. I doubt it will be applicable for people joining after next week by default. That would be very nice of QC if they do, but I doubt it :)
Is it safe to reneg after you signed the offer letter ?
Qualcomm On hire stock and sign on bonus sucks
YOE? TC? Seen some Nuvia offers are very strong.
How much are Nuvia offers for senior staff or principal
Apart from pay raise -- there was one time bonus and RSU grant. that may not have been to everyone but provided to non core teams as well. email from JT. could have been focused primarily on SD increased cost of living but need check.
Heard about rsu, but not one time bonus. Who is getting this one time bonus?
I don’t see the RSU grant email
Modem team here but didn’t get shit
hahaha they got "hunted" in SD and so the move. Nice one in the end!
WLB depends on team. I work average 2 hours per day.
lol what?? why did they even hire u then? i am assuming you are a junior engineer and not staff or above
Wow .. thats a dream team for everyone in QC. Hw/sw?

guess too many people jump off the ship, they kind of had to
And if all they know is they might've missed 5%, they can still be confident they made the right decision.
Minimum 5% though. My friends at Qcom all got above 10% increase
