Hi all, Got an offer from Qualtrics (Seattle) recently Upstart Base - 145k Rsus - 230k / 4 Perf bonus - 15% Location - Remote, MCOL Role - SDE 2 Qualtrics Base - 146k Rsu - 278k / 4 Perf bonus - 5% (meets expectations) Location - Seattle Role - SDE 2 I have asked Qualtrics to increase, however, said if you join now, there will be a sign on bonus of 11k I personally don't think making a move to Seattle with a TC of around 225k is not worth it Which one would you choose ? yup .. look at upstart stock .. super over priced .. unless they have policy to guarantee you 230k, there is a big downside if it tanks.. depends on your risk appetite.

Qualtrics gives refreshers every year. 100k over four years for an L4. But this seems mostly like a "do you want to work remote" question. Qualtrics isn't gonna allow that

It goes to 10% when you hit L5. It's personally such a small amount compared to my base and equity, I don't really ever think about it
