Hi all,

I would like to ask your suggestion on the package I should ask (the headhunter asked) for a PE firm (NYC/~$3B AUM)’s ops roles. (in addition to Hendrik report, which is also investment focus)

Sr. level portfolio ops role focusing on marketing investments in the mid-market growth companies
Work: identifying key tech risks, opportunities, costs & process inefficiencies acquisition evaluation.

Responsibilities: Go-to-Market, sales strategy & pricing for the portfolio companies

Currently working in GTM/marketing in big tech with prior strategy management consulting and e-commerce startup experiences with a MBA and a LLB. 8 YoE.

    • Yes I am very well aware (that’s why I specifically said it’s “common outside of the US”) but if you combine the population of all those countries you listed India’s will still far surpass them…(that’s where “probably” comes from). Read the original comment my man. That LL.B didn’t do you any wonders.

      That’s just a general assumption and bias you hold to assume just coz someone has a degree and is probably from a certain country given nationality has no relevance in this discussion, and I’m also not an Indian to your disappointment

      Yes. PE Comp does not include stock. It’s usually base + bonus (can be 100-150% of base in many cases) + Carry - share of the total firm profits. If the firm makes 50 mil a year, a portion of that is shared by senior members.
