Question about keeping Linkedin profile up to date
is it sketch to update my linkedin profile with the stuff im currently doing? ive only been working here for 3 months but ive already put in tons of work. Ex: refactored blah implented blah blah

I think keeping it up to date will help you in the long run. Just post updates when a feature that you worked on is released. Or re-share a link or a blog post that talks about the release, explaining briefly how useful it is for the users. I think it helps you in networking in as well.

Keep it updated only to keep the recruiter flow active and relevant. And +1 to turning off network updates.
My 2 cents: No one cares. Just take out the setting that posts updates to your network.
