Question about resume for internships
Hey guys, so I recently interned at Amazon, and was fortunate enough to get a return intern offer for next summer. I want to try to get an internship somewhere else though (Apple, Facebook, Google, Dropbox are on the top of my list). I stated in my resume that I have a return offer from Amazon, but my friends say it comes across as cocky or arrogant, which is definitely not something I want. The reason I say I got the return offer is because I thought it would show I performed well enough to get one. Does saying that discourage companies from interviewing me?
As a test run, I've applied to a bunch of smaller companies and startups with the resume and still didn't get interviews. I have two internships under my belt plus some projects plus an okayish GPA. I assumed I'd get interviews but I didn't. Is the return offer line a turnoff?
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Remember this is internship position, and teams don't hire a lot of interns. And they don't want to waste time if they're even slightly unsure of the candidate.
On the other hand, if you remove the line, youll have the benefit of good work experience over other candidates. They would probably love to get you on call and ask why not continue at Amazon for which you can always give good answers.
Removing the line doesn't hurt your chances, so why keep it?
