Currently have an onsite and in my last month of prep. 3 years of exp. Do they ask system design? Are design patterns needed for this onsite? How about object oriented design? If OOP is possible then design patterns is in the mix? I was told by the recruiter there are no system design questions. Should I listen to him? If you used the filter on leetcode using top Google questions and do all the hard questions. Is that a good enough representation? I currently can do 80-90% of medium questions I come across. But have like a 60% pass rate on hards. Not sure how the testing will mix into the onsite. Many of CTCI and EPI is about SWE, not SETI. Any good blogs or materials about testing?
Same as any SWE. That’s your answer. Your recruiter will have info on what to prepare which generally helps. I have never interviewed for SETI because I preferred SWE-Infra.
