I joined Confluent one month ago. Before I joined I had cleared Google interviews but they down leveled me, so I said I'm not interested. I was pretty happy with the Confluent offer so I just joined and forgot all about Google. Last week my recruiter reached out to me and said that a manager is interested in my profile and he is ready to recommend me to the level I want and it was approved today. I have a week to sign the offer and they want me to join in December. It's a great team, aligns with my background better than my current role. I have decided to sign the offer. I'm extremely stressed about quitting here as I would have hardly completed 2 months by the time I quit. Any suggestions as to how I can tell my manager?
Should I mention about this offer or just say I'm quitting due to personal reasons? It would definitely come up.
