Choosing between Quora and Lyft for my final internship. Previously interned at Uber so Quora might be a better for breadth of experience. But I would also want to work in SF full-time and the Lyft new grad pay is pretty phenomenal. Thoughts?
Tc or gtfo?
Go to Lyft. Your current experience will still be relevant. The company has a real product that's a good#2 to the leader in the space and isn't just some billionaire's pet project
Agreed, although I did find the eng talent and bar at Quora to be higher than most tier 1 companies
Those voting for quora I’m curious to hear your thoughts
Obviously I work at Quora. Our engineering bar is much higher. Internship program is pretty well-run with most interns having actual impact on the product.
I don't understand how Quora is ever in this conversation or really even a company anymore. They were a cool place to work like 7 years ago and haven't been relevant in 5.
Ofc lyft.its a solid product with revenue.
Vote for Quora because I don’t want you to go to Lyft. Stay Uber
I had a great experience at Uber - only wish the new grad pay was better
Quora is just paper money, I don’t understand you
