[India] Reneging signed offer with joining 2 weeks away
So 20-25 days into signing an offer with company A post rigorous negotiation, I got to interview with company B. I informed them upfront about the signed offer, and they expedited the process.
Wasn't really expecting to crack the interview, just took the rounds up with nothing-to-lose mindset, but I did want to try the process as it's a good company with solid people. Incidentally I've ended up with an offer from B, that beats A's offer by 60+%
Apart from TC, B is a fast growing late stage, Pre IPO start up company, while A is a more stable (and with lower growth), public company. Both are good companies, with a decent name in the industry (I apologize, can't disclose the names here, please DM for details).
But given the TC difference, I can not refuse B's offer and want to go with them. But that would mean reneging on A's offer which was made 40 days back(thanks to 60 days notice period norm in India), and risk of burning bridges with the A HM (who seemed really nice) and/or recruiter, plus possible blacklisting.
I don't think A can match the new offer that too this late post accepting. If I were to renege A, which I mostly am, would it be wise to tell them I interviewed with B post accepting their offer? Any suggestions for me, so I can avoid burning bridges with A?
Thanks a lot in advance for your suggestions!
New offer TC: 60+ LPA range, 3 YoE

Always do what's best for you, getting competing offers while serving notice period is very common imo and you won't burn any bridges, just inform them asap
If not, just be generic and say you found another opportunity that aligns better with your goals etc etc and leave it at that
Just be polite doing that.
There's no point in reneging if you wish to join B anyways.

I'm sure if you tell A your current situation they'll understand. companies go through this almost everyday
