Need career advice

My current work revolves around OS and security. I like my current work but I am not sure on the career progression, relevance to the industry and future job prospects outside my current org. Do the FAANG companies have similar roles? Or shall I think of switching to roles like devops/ cloud?

    FAANG M also has such positions. Not sure about security but os and system software stuff is yes. Apple has security teams work in os + security domain. All cloud provider build there own hardware so you will find teams with os + embedded work. Only thing is openings will be less compared to cloud backend.

      I believe you are mentioning about systems engineer role. Do those roles pay well compared to devops / cloud related roles? As far as I saw, the pay for these roles is less.
