Right now I don’t know what to do in behavioral interviews. I am generally a friendly person, and take part in team lunches, happy hours, board game nights etc. However, when it comes to interviews, no one finds me a person they can “grab a beer with”, and I always get rejected for that.
How do I fix this? I’m sure every candidate is nervous in an interview, so not sure if that alone will fix things.
Thanks, and here’s to another sleepless night wondering what’s bad in me 🍷

How do you work with others.
When and how have you led projects.
How do you deal with conflict.
What types of work motivates you.
Can you empathize with people who are different from you.
Etc.
It's not about your interest in grabbing a beer.
He asked about books I read recently, I brought up podcasts, talked company swag, good conferences, laptops. Just keep it casual as if you met a manager at a company party and got stuck talking with them for 30 minutes. Talk SFW hobbies and interests.
