I’m a Senior Manager of Internal Audit in a manufacturing company looking to get into a Tech company. I have been seeing a lot of people talking about how Tech companies pay well and provide big RSU incentives. Is that only for Engineers/Developers or also for those more on the Audit, Risk and Compliance (IT, privacy, etc) side of the company?

    • Good. After pulling several years of work experience in Audit, you can get into tech and make decent pay aswell. Don't see the need/reason to go learn coding and begin from scratch cos of some ridiculous notion that Audit and other non-coding professions are "useless".

  • No one should have audit experience in their career plan; get into security risk roles if you can.
